LOCATION: On the upper level of Camp, between Pritchard’s Run and Barber Road

NEAREST PARKING: Winter Barracks parking lot accessed via the Camp entrance from Boyhaven Road between Brereton Athletic Field and the White House

DROP-OFF ACCESS: With the Ranger’s permission (and a key to the gate) a limited number of vehicles may drive to the general lean-to area via Barber Road to drop off and pick up camping equipment and supplies. Pritchard’s Run is not open to vehicular traffic. Alternatively, and preferably, Scouts may borrow "camp carts" to transport their food and gear from the parking lot to the Woodsman campsite via Pritchard’s Run or Barber Road

WATER SUPPLY – WARM SEASONS: Spigot in the campsite

WATER SUPPLY – WINTER: Spigot on the south side of the White House to the right of the Ranger’s porch or a spigot on the entrance-side of Winter Barracks to the right of the doorway

NEAREST LATRINES: One in the campsite, one in the nearby Pioneer campsite, and one in the showerhouse behind Carter Hall.

NEAREST SHOWERHOUSE: The new winterized facility on Murray Lane north of the Parade Field is just a three minute hike from the Woodsman lean-tos and the recently renovated showerhouse behind Carter Hall is equally close by

OTHER CAMPING FACILITIES NEARBY: Plenty of open space for tent camping and Banker I cabin.
