CARTER HALL

COOKING & DINING FACILITIES: Carter Hall has a large, well-equipped kitchen and a dining hall capCarter Hall at Camp Boyhavenable of seating up to 200 people. There is also a large covered BBQ pit outside. A perfect place to hold your annual unit dinner or Court of Honor!!  This facility is not available during the Summer Camp season, July 1 through August 15.

LOCATION: On the upper level of Camp, south of the White House

NEAREST PARKING: The Winter Barracks parking lot behind the White House accessed via the Camp entrance between Brereton Field and the White House.

DROP-OFF ACCESS: With the Ranger’s permission (and a key to the gate) a limited number of vehicles may drive down Murray Lane, past the Parade Field, to the back of the dining hall to deliver supplies.

RENTAL FEE - NO KITCHEN: $50/day (in-Council Units); $75/day (out-of-Council Units)
RENTAL FEE - WITH KITCHEN: $100/day (in-Council Units); $150/day (out-of-Council Units)
NOTE:  These fees apply only to chartered Scouting groups

RESERVATIONS: Call the Council Office (869-6436) to check availability, then complete a camp property reservation form and submit it and the rental fee to the address at the top.  Click here to cyber-jump to the reservation form.

WATER SUPPLY – WARM SEASONS: The kitchen is supplied with hot and cold water

WATER SUPPLY – WINTER: Spigot on the south side of the White House or on the entrance side of Winter Barracks

NEAREST LATRINE: In the showerhouse behind Carter Hall

CHECK IN PROCEDUREAs soon as you arrive in Camp, please check in at the White House so that Ranger Gus knows you have arrived safely and so that he can give you instructions, answer your questions, and open the gates to the parking lots.
