CABIN-CAMPING AT BOYHAVEN
GENERAL INFORMATION Each of the listed cabins is winterized; there’s a wood–burning stove inside that you can stoke with hardwood from the pile supplied by the Boyhaven Gophers. (Please don’t use the chunk wood for outside fires). Except for Butler Lodge, each cabin is equipped with a propane cook-stove and a refrigerator. Except for "Winter Barracks" there is no running water in the cabins. During the warm seasons (May through September) water is piped to each campsite and spigots are readily accessible to cabin dwellers. During the winter months (October through April) bring your own water supply from home or use the spigot on the south side of the White House, just to the right of the porch or the one on the entrance-side of Winter Barracks. Bring you own carrying containers. Bunks are typically canvas-covered wire webs; foam mattresses are recommended for a comfortable night’s sleep. Only "Winter Barracks" has a supply of cooking and serving utensils, however limited. And the trash policy of the Camp is: "Pack it in; pack it out". Ranger Gus does not make garbage runs. Please click on the CABIN NAME in the table for specific information RESERVATION PROCEDURE All cabin rental arrangements must be made through the Twin Rivers Council Office in Albany.
