~ BANKER II ~ LOCATION: Banker II is located at the south end of the lower level of Camp, a stone's throw from the lower level parking lot NEAREST PARKING: The lower-level parking lot located on Boyhaven Road just two-tenths of a mile from the Route 29 entrance to Camp and on the right. DROP-OFF ACCESS: With the Ranger’s permission (and a key to the gate) a limited number of vehicles may drive directly to the cabin via Burma Road to drop off and pick up camping equipment and supplies. Alternatively, and preferably, Scouts may borrow "camp carts" to transport their food and gear from the parking lot. CABIN CAPACITY: 20 KITCHEN FACILITIES: The cabin has a large kitchen equipped with a propane cook stove, refrigerator, and ample storage and counter space. There are no pots and pans. ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND OUTLETS: Yes HEATING: Wood stove FIREWOOD SUPPLY: Inside the cabin. Please replenish the supply from the camp woodshed before you leave. See Ranger Dan for instructions. WATER SUPPLY – WARM SEASONS: Spigot just across Burma Road near the trail that goes up the hill WATER SUPPLY – WINTER: Spigot on south side of the White House to the right of the porch and a spigot on the entrance-end of Winter Barracks just to the right of the door. NEAREST LATRINE: Fifty feet from the north-end doorway NEAREST SHOWERHOUSE: Lower-level showerhouse: take Burma Road north and hang a left just before the Metal Bridge to Ranger campsite. Or the new and winterized showerhouse on Murray Lane across from the Parade Field. OTHER CAMPING FACILITIES NEARBY: Banker II is right smack dab in the middle of the Lower Level campsite with several lean-tos nearby and plenty of open space for tent-camping.
