Ranger Campsite

Ranger Campsite-by-the-Stream    The Ranger lean-tos were built in 1954 but with good maintenance programs at Camp they are still in fine shape and offer a comfortable and pleasant location for a weekend stay. This campsite is unique in that the outdoor ambiance is complemented by the soothing sounds of a babbling brook. And there’s no extra charge!

The stream which flows past Ranger campsite on the west side is "Frink's Brook" which starts beyond Upper Cacner Lake, feeds both Upper and Lower Cacner Lakes, and then empties into the Kaydeross Creek about a quarter mile downstream. This brook provides a wealth of opportunities for conservation projects and a place to cool off on a hot summer day… and a great night’s sleep!
