Lundergan Pavilion
"Lundergan Pavilion"
is one of two spacious open-air shelters at Camp Boyhaven available for picnics,
meetings, rainy-day activities, or a quiet place to catch up on your Scout
reading. It was constructed just a few years ago in memory of Andy Lundergan,
"Beloved Son, Good Friend, Dedicated Scout" whose untimely death
continues to remind us how fragile life is and how important it is to do one's
best every day, as if it were indeed our last.
"Winter Lodge" was once located on the site of this pavilion. This building provided a place for winter camping right through January and February. Winter Lodge burned in 1983, just a few hours after a group of Scouts left from a weekend stay.
