Health Lodge
The Health Lodge was built in
1947 as a combination first-aid station and junior-size hospital. During summer
resident camps, a trained first-aider resides here. Care is provided for cuts,
burns, puncture wounds, headaches, upset stomachs and even minor cases of "homesickitis."
More serious injuries are treated and stabilized and patients are then
transported to the hospital in Saratoga Springs just a few minutes away. So,
take careful note of the location of the Health Lodge. It's not just for other
people... it's for YOU whether you need a band aid for a finger or a temperature
taken for a fever.
