Butler Lodge

Butler Lodge, named for John Butler

Butler Lodge is located in the wooded area just west of Carter Hall. The cabin is winterized and capable of bunking 8 Scouts and leaders. Although there is no propane cook stove or refrigerator, the wood stove serves as an excellent winter-camping cooking surface and "natural" refrigeration is close at hand December through March.  Butler Lodge is named in honor of Mr. John P. Butler, Jr. who served Schenectady County Council for many years.
