Archery Ranges at
Camp Boyhaven

In 1997, the
archery range was moved from its former lower-level location near the Rifle
Range to the William J. May Cub Scout Area at the north end of Camp. It can be
accessed by following the Historic Trail north from the Winter Barracks parking
lot or south from Morgan Pavilion. The range is used for Cub Summer Camp
shooting and safety instruction and for off-season target practice by both Scout and non-Scout
groups.
With the
increase in popularity of archery at Summer Camp, a second range was constructed
in 2001 near Lower Cacner Lake. The "Lakeside Archery
Range" was a gift to Scouting from BBL Construction.
